Remote Learning Attendance Expectations

STUDENTS UNABLE TO ATTEND CLASSES MUST HAVE A PARENT/GUARDIAN CONTACT THE ATTENDANCE OFFICE: (847) 626-2570.

Synchronous Days–Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, Friday:

Students will sign in to Canvas for each class period and participate in synchronous remote learning activities on Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, and Friday. Teachers will take attendance on these days and submit it via Infinite Campus.

Students who are unable to sign in to Canvas (e.g. unable to access the Internet) can submit an excused absence similar to existing school policies. Refer to the “D219 Student Handbook, Section C – Attendance and Truancy.”

Every Wednesday, students will engage in asynchronous learning activities. Wednesdays will be considered attendance days for students. Students will submit attendance via Infinite Campus. Every Wednesday, students will log in to Canvas and submit their attendance for the day.
