** D219 Students Should Follow These Attendance Procedures

D219 has changed the way it is taking student attendance during Remote Learning Days. We ask students and parents to follow these procedures. Thank you!

Free Breakfasts and Lunches During School Closures

Beginning Monday, March 30, Niles Township High School District D219, in conjunction with area elementary school districts will be providing free breakfasts and lunches on Mondays and Wednesdays from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. to all Niles Township students ages 18 or under. Click here for more details about free breakfasts and lunches.

Remote Learning

District 219 will employ  Remote Learning days as part of its District Pandemic Preparedness Plan. The goal is to provide continuity of education for students on days when school otherwise would have been canceled due to an emergency situation. On Remote Learning days, students will use their district-issued Chromebook, home computer, or mobile device to connect to Google Classroom to access assignments for the day and submit their attendance. Students will be required to check-in for attendance and then complete assignments as a continuation of what they are learning in their classes.
