It is with great pleasure and pride that I share with you that our very own senior, Cherie Animashaun, is one of 150 recipients of the 2023 Coca-Cola Scholarship program, awarding her a $20,000 scholarship for being a visionary leader creating positive change in our community and around the world. Being a Coca-Cola Scholar is one of the top honors in the country and is an extremely competitive award. Less than 1/6 of 1% of applicants are selected! Cherie just returned from a Leadership Development Institute in Atlanta with the other Coca-Cola Scholars across the country.
Cherie has continued to amaze us in her short time here at Niles West, and we are positive she will continue to do great things. We are so proud of her!
