5 WEEKS remain to submit required proof of meningitis immunization to avoid exclusion from school.
All District 219 senior students will be sent home from school on Monday, October 15th if they have not submitted proof of receiving the meningitis vaccine by that time and will not be permitted to return until the requirement is met. According to Illinois school law, all seniors must show proof of receiving 2 meningitis vaccines including one after the age of 16. If only one vaccine was received, it must have been after the age of 16. Please submit records to the health office. For questions please call:

For students who are uninsured or underinsured, the Skokie Public Health Department is located at 5127 Oakton Street and offers vaccines to Skokie residents 18 years of age or under and to students who attend Skokie elementary or high schools. Vaccines are administered during specific vaccine clinic times. The Health Department can be reached at (847) 933-8252.
