North Teams Win Robotics Competition

Congratulations to Niles North Robotics teams 333R and 333H, who were crowned Tournament Champions at the VEX Robotics Competition Turning Point game held on Sunday, November 18 at Niles West High School. More than 200 high school students and mentors from around the Chicagoland area attended Sunday’s event to compete in a series of back-to-back robotics challenges. 333R and 333H were victorious by strategically executing the 2018-19 VEX Robotics Competition game, Turning Point, driving robots they designed, built, and programmed.

In addition, 333R won the Excellence Award, the highest award presented in the VEX Robotics Competition, given to a team that exemplifies overall excellence in a VEX Robotics Program, as well as the Skills Award.

Teams 333R and 333H are qualified for the Illinois State Robotics Championship to be held February 23, 2019 at Niles West High School.
