The Niles Township High School District 219 Board of Education held its reorganizational meeting on Monday, April 29.
On behalf of the district, Superintendent Steven Isoye thanked retiring board members Linda Lampert, Brian Novak and Mark Sproat for their four years of service on the board.
Board members elected on April 2 were then sworn in: new board members Rebecca Abraham, Jill Manrique and James Specker, and Dr. David Ko, who returns as a board member.
The new board then elected its new officers. All the officers will serve for two-year terms:
Dr. David Ko, President
Jill Manrique, Vice President
Joe Nowik, Secretary
James Specker, Secretary Pro Tem
