The Niles Township High School District 219 Board of Education members and I would like to thank you for visiting the D219 website. We are proud of our three high schools that serve the Niles Township communities of Lincolnwood, Morton Grove, Niles and Skokie. Please take the time to browse through our district website and the websites of our individual schools to learn about the myriad of opportunities we provide our students.

We appreciate the support of our Niles Township families, residents, business owners and other constituents, who make it possible for us to provide an outstanding learning experience for our students. The district has a wide array of courses and a challenging curriculum to prepare our students to be successful in life after high school. In addition to the teaching and learning that takes place in our classrooms, D219 provides many extracurricular activities through athletics, the fine and performing arts, and student clubs and activities.

I am fortunate to have been selected by the D219 Board of Education as the new superintendent and to serve the people of this district. I am excited to be a part of the community and to work with our excellent educators as we continuously change to meet our students’ needs. This year I plan to listen and learn about the schools, gain an understanding of our areas of strength, and work with the other members of our school community to identify where we should focus our efforts for the future so we can best meet the needs of each and every one of our students.

I welcome your thoughts, suggestions and questions. Please feel free to contact me by email (steiso@d219.org) or by phone (847-626-3960).

Thank you.
