Skokie's Backlot Bash Features Popular Teacher Dunk Tank Fundraiser

in

Dance Marathon is hosting its annual Dunk Tank fundraiser during Skokie's Backlot Bash from 2 pm to 6 pm on August 25 and 26. Warm up your throwing arm and get ready to dunk a District 219 teacher. Funds will support Rustic Falls Nature Center and the District 219 Foundation for Excellence. Join Dance Marathon students at the Dunk Tank for other activities, including face painting and t-shirt sales.

Rustic Falls Nature Camp is a customized camp experience for small groups. The goal is to create unique outdoor experiences for at-risk youth, cancer survivors and physically and mentally challenged children and adults.

The District 219 Education Foundation for Excellence's purpose is to enrich education for Niles Township high School students by providing additional resources, outside the scope of the regular district budget. For information on the Foundation, go to:  www.219foundation.org.
